Status of Compliance with Requirements
carpe solem GmbH strives to make this website accessible and operate it in accordance with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1" and the applicable European standard EN 301 549 V2.1.2 (2018-08). The website is also continuously evaluated and optimized accordingly.
Due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions, conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines – WCAG 2.1" can currently only be partially met.
- Videos: Audio descriptions or subtitles are currently not available for all videos published on this website. Most videos are embedded via the YouTube video platform and may not meet these standards. Therefore, WCAG Success Criterion 1.2.5 (Prerecorded Audio Description) is not met. Correcting this would represent a disproportionate burden under accessibility regulations.
- PDF documents: PDF documents and Office documents are only partially made accessible. Therefore, WCAG Success Criterion 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value) is not met. Please let us know if you have any difficulties with specific documents. We will prepare the content for accessibility upon request and subsequently replace the documents or supplement them with accessible alternatives. We strive to prepare new documents for accessibility according to WCAG 2.1 and PDF/UA compliance before publication.
- Third-party content: Third-party content beyond the control of the website operator is exempt from Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and cannot always be made accessible. However, we ask for your notification so that we can replace embedded third-party content or report accessibility issues accordingly.
Images: All images on this website are provided with alternative text to ensure this information is accessible to screen reader users. If you notice an image without alternative text, please let us know.
Contrast & font size: The website is designed with high contrast. The font size was selected to be sufficient for the respective device. Thanks to the responsive features, the zoom factor of the web browser can also be adjusted to your needs without causing display issues. If the contrast or font size of some elements is insufficient, please let us know. - Links: Links on this website are clearly distinguishable from the body text and stand out in color or other formatting. If the visibility of links is restricted at certain points, please let us know.
